Marketing Manager – Aspen Grove
The marketing/engagement manager is responsible for developing and overseeing the creation, implementation and execution of strategic marketing plans for BYU Aspen Grove properties in an effort to meet consumer needs and maximize revenue. This position also oversees the student staff experience from marketing efforts to recruit staff to student experience through the duration of their employment. The manager evaluates results of various marketing campaigns and spearheads market‑research efforts. This position is responsible for promotional messaging and products, including distribution across various media platforms, and ensures a good return on investment in marketing activities.
What You’ll Do in This Position
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to meet business targets
Direct sales team in contacting event planners to promote conferences at Aspen Grove
Manage all promotional events, such as conference package showcases and Aspen Grove presence at relevant BYU or community events
Oversee the hiring process including events leading up to interviews and tracking applicant progress for student recruiting, and maintain recruiting relationships with relevant campus partners
Oversee onboarding process including uniforms, housing and belonging activities, and track progress of employee training and certifications
Oversee copywriting, content management for promotional messaging and web administration
Oversee brand development and continuity with Aspen Grove websites, social media content, uniforms, telecommunications, and guest apps
Collect and interpret market‑research data, including creation and maintenance of surveys
Seek out new revenue sources
Plan and execute student events with student committee and supported by full‑time team
Required Qualifications
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or another related field
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in related field and two years of relevant business experience

Pay
Pay Grade: 52
Typical Starting Pay: $65,500 – $84,500
