Role Overview
The Marketing & Communications Specialist leads brand communications across internal teams, customers, and the community, supporting sales, recruiting, internal alignment, and public‑facing storytelling.
What You’ll Do
Own written and print communications across marketing, sales, recruiting, and internal channels
Develop sales presentations, bid materials, and RFP/RFQ responses
Manage recruiting, billing, and corporate collateral
Plan, promote, and manage events including lunch‑and‑learns, trainings, trade shows, and community events
Lead public relations efforts including press releases, project announcements, and partner stories
Support internal communications such as company updates, presentations, signage, office displays, and announcements
Curate and manage email newsletters for residential and commercial audiences
Write, edit, and publish educational articles and web content with technical support from internal experts
Interview subject matter experts and translate knowledge into accessible content
Coordinate with external agency partners by developing scopes of work for design and creative materials
Support ongoing website and Learning Center content development
Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
Background in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
Experience supporting sales teams and business development preferred
Construction or trade industry experience preferred but not required
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and brand voice
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and editorial schedules
Strong organizational and project management skills
Comfort interviewing and collaborating with subject matter experts
Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
Computer proficiency including content management, document creation, and presentations
Physical & Work Requirements
Primarily office‑based with occasional local travel to job sites or events
Regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment
Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
Benefits & Pay Structure
Pay: $48,000 – $55,000 based on experience.
