Type: Full Time Location: In-Office preferred, remote or hybrid candidates considered Reports To: Chief Business Development Officer Description The Digital Strategist is responsible for developing and executing social media and digital advertising strategies across both The Relish Jar’s brand presence and its portfolio of client accounts. This role blends creative content development with data-informed decision-making to grow audiences, drive engagement, and support client marketing goals. Education Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred Experience 4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role Agency or multi-client experience is a plus Demonstrated experience managing business social media accounts (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) Familiarity with Google Ads campaign creation and management Skills & Tools Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred Experience with social media scheduling and management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sked, Sprout Social, or similar) Fundamental understanding of analytics platforms (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or similar) Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt voice and tone across several different brands Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously Working knowledge of Google Ads, including Search, Display, and/or Performance Max campaigns Specific Job Duties Social Media Management Plan, create, schedule, and publish content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn across internal and client accounts Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with client campaigns, seasonal opportunities, and brand objectives Monitor accounts for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond in a timely and on-brand manner Track and report on social performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending optimizations Collaborate with the team to ensure social content aligns with broader marketing strategies and campaign goals Digital Advertising Support Campaign setup, keyword research, ad copywriting, and performance monitoring Contribute to reporting on paid media performance and provide data-informed recommendations Assist in the creation and management of Google Ads campaigns for applicable clients General Agency Responsibilities Contribute to The Relish Jar’s own brand presence through social content and thought leadership Stay current on platform algorithm changes, digital marketing trends, and best practices Participate in client strategy discussions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns Support the production of digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools Accept assignments and tasks that ensure the objectives of client engagements are met Monthly reporting showing campaign stats, changes, and analysis Key Focus Areas Social media strategy and execution across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Brand consistency and voice management across multiple client accounts Audience growth and engagement on organic social channels Cross-functional collaboration with account managers and creative team members Analytics and performance reporting to support data-driven decisions Google Ads campaign support and paid social media advertising Performance Requirements Training The Digital Strategist will receive onboarding training on The Relish Jar workflows, client accounts, tools, and brand standards. Ongoing professional development is encouraged, including platform certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint) and industry training opportunities. Attendance / Effort Regular availability during core business hours is expected, along with timely participation in team meetings, client check-ins, and internal communications. You are expected to bring your best effort, creative energy, and professional judgment to every account and project, taking ownership of your responsibilities and proactively communicating challenges or opportunities to the team.
