Our client, an independent advertising agency based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Copywriter to join their creative team. This role is ideal for a concept‑driven writer who believes every assignment is an opportunity to challenge the status quo while still delivering against client goals and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is collaborative, curious, and driven to elevate the quality of every piece of work—from social copy to fully integrated campaigns. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Tampa, FL (local candidates or those willing to relocate only). Salary $65‑75k. Responsibilities Collaborate with account teams, clients, creative directors, art directors, and designers to concept campaigns and develop brand storytelling. Write clear, engaging, and effective copy across a variety of channels including digital, social, print, video, and emerging platforms. Contribute to the development of big, provocative ideas while also executing against tactical deliverables as needed. Push creative work to be both innovative and results‑oriented, balancing brand storytelling with measurable business outcomes. Participate actively in brainstorms and creative development, contributing ideas and building on others’ thinking. Incorporate feedback from clients and internal teams thoughtfully while maintaining timelines, deadlines, and project goals. Work across a wide range of assignments, embracing both high‑profile campaigns and day‑to‑day deliverables with equal enthusiasm. Continuously refine craft and stay current with industry trends, formats, and creative approaches. Required Qualifications Copywriting experience within an advertising or marketing agency environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across multiple channels and formats. Ability to develop big ideas while also delivering polished, detail‑oriented copy. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to persuade and inspire. High attention to detail, including organization, version control, and deadline management. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience/portfolio). Preferred Qualifications Experience working across both brand campaigns and performance‑driven marketing initiatives. Exposure to video, film, or integrated campaign development. A collaborative, low‑ego approach with a strong team‑first mindset.
