Core Role
Day to day oversight of the clients’ teams performance and deliverables
Overseeing network excellence across 3 clients with a large footprint in Latam countries, encouraging markets on planning excellence, to take risks, be bold, and exceed expectations.
Serving as primary relationship lead for several senior clients, including Regional/Global COEs/MiM, Regional MDs and MDs of Brands.
Manage a successful, integrated planning team through high level strategic insights and analytics to drive marketing and media planning decisions for Latam clients and marketing counterparts to deliver on marketing objectives
Be a champion for the brands (from our clients) and the Latam countries they manage and continually strive to find innovative solutions that build the brand while fostering the client relationship
Provide expertise and leadership in performance marketing, across all channels: traditional, digital, connected commerce and emerging media
Responsible to guarantee adequate rates for the clients through strategic negotiation processes
Responsible for Monitoring and measuring the spend levels and buying improvements across client assigned markets in the region.
Effectively motivate, lead and train the entire team to maximize shared objectives
Incentive / create and support new business opportunities in order to diversify OmnicomMediaGroup scope of services.
Key Competencies
Extensive knowledge of the media and marketing business, demonstrating a depth in performance-based marketing results across all channels through ROI, Analytics, Brand strategic planning, and buying & planning Regional Media including TV, OOH, Print, Digital and E-commerce.
8+ years marketing and media experience, with a track record in being a category expert and business strategist
In-depth experience with integrated marketing programs including strategic development, analysis and implementation.
Digital capabilities, understanding of new platforms
Leadership/Client Partnership
Demonstrated leadership success in a previous senior client service and account management role
Articulating a clear and compelling vision to direct and maximize the team where all roles and responsibilities are well defined, understood and managed
Takes appropriate risks and make tough decisions when required
A dynamic personality who can manage with a culture of “constructive conflict.”
Needs to be confident in their abilities and able to state the agency position on sound facts
Maintains a high level of service to all clients, has credibility and a record of delivering results
Expertise in marketing and sales; knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics; and consultative sales techniques
Relationship builder, demonstrating an ability to listen and respond to a wide variety of constituencies from CMO to Assistant Brand Managers
Track record of strength in business development and financial account growth
Exhibits sound business judgment to navigate through everyday client and team challenges and commands respect (and authority when needed)
Ability to foster an optimal environment for idea generation and creative innovation
Previous experience managing and leading integrated teams
Financial Management
Experienced at managing budgets and the client P&L successfully
Able to forecast and develop an integrated Account Plan, collaborating with internal financial team
Experience forecasting, planning and selling marketing or media programs which expand the relationship with the client
Communicator/Ombudsman
Strong communicator and presenter, able to present and articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points-of-view that ultimately close the sale
Ability to effectively resolve conflict, both internally among functions and externally with advertising agency partners and media partners
Ability to listen and motivate account team members to achieve shared goals
Trusted advisor to client counterparts that is seen as a vital part of their team; represent the voice of the client within OmnicomMediaGroup
Candid communicator who can organize, clarify and communicate complex ideas quickly, succinctly and accurately

Required Skills
Director should ideally have extensive, diverse marketing and media experience on both the corporate and agency side and in media in the Latin American market, with emphasis across medium and small markets of the region
Background in branding, and customer experience management in addition to hands‑on experience in leading successful, performance‑based strategic campaigns that drive cost‑per‑action results.
Highly analytical and creative mind in strong communication skills with experience in building and managing a team through a use of excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Possesses a desire for excellence and a passion to succeed in a fast moving and ever evolving environment where everyone is expected to be hands‑on
Senior experience with buying at both a local and international level
Very strong numeric and analytical skills with high levels of accuracy.
Strong deck‑writing and presentation skills
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job‑related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range: $70,000—$125,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in‑office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in‑office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in‑office days based on business needs.
