Sports Reporter, Corry, PA Immediate Opening We are now taking applications for a Sports Reporter who will be "hands‑on" at Daily Newspaper in Corry, Pa. The successful candidate will lead the sports team covering all local sports in our coverage area, which includes the Corry Area School District, Union City Area School District, and Clymer Central School (in New York State). Pagination experience is also helpful. Competitive salary and benefits. Pay: $25,000 – $30,000.00 per year Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Responsibilities Lead the sports team, covering all local sports in the specified districts. Produce timely, accurate, and engaging coverage of sporting events. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive sports coverage. Assist with pagination and layout for the sports section. Qualifications Experienced leader with a degree in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience. Strong writing and editorial skills. Knowledge of local sports and community events. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
