Job Overview The Senior Product Marketing Manager is a key member of the Marketing Operations Team and is responsible for leading a portfolio of sterile injectable pharmaceutical products across acute and non‑acute care settings. This role combines P&L ownership, product management, advanced forecasting, competitive intelligence, and promotional marketing. The Senior Product Marketing Manager serves as the primary marketing lead for assigned molecules, providing strategic direction on pricing, positioning, targeting, and market development. In addition, this role contributes to broader portfolio insights and cross‑functional leadership to support the Senior Director of Marketing in driving business growth. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations and is based onsite in East Windsor, NJ, with one (1) remote day per week. Responsibilities Inline Product Management Own P&L for assigned molecules, including pricing, forecasting, bids, budget management, and financial performance tracking Lead development and execution of short‑ and long‑term product strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets Build advanced forecasting models, including scenario planning (competitive entry, supply constraints, market shifts) Conduct deep competitive intelligence using IQVIA, IPD, and other sources; synthesize insights into actionable recommendations Develop and refine product positioning, value propositions, and differentiation strategies Collaborate with Sales to support selling efforts, develop customer messaging, and identify new bid opportunities Lead cross‑functional working groups (Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Pricing) to ensure alignment on product performance and strategy Identify risks and opportunities through market analysis and provide strategic recommendations to leadership Participate in annual marketing planning, including competitive research, molecule strategy development, and budget recommendations Monitor product performance and competitive landscape to optimize plans and meet forecasts Pricing For the entire injectable product portfolio, provide pricing analyses including recommendations on pricing approvals for new business opportunities, price changes, RORFs, and RPFs Provide analyses to present to leadership to be used for final pricing approvals including but not limited to gross to net calculations, competitive intelligence, pricing tiers, price/volume matrixes, and WAC price recommendations Website Management and Engagement Own product‑specific website content, ensuring accuracy, differentiation, and alignment with brand and portfolio strategy Monitor digital engagement metrics and use insights to refine messaging and promotional tactics Lifecycle Management & Strategic Support Create and execute lifecycle strategies for generic drug products, including SKU optimization, cost management, and discontinuation planning Evaluate opportunities for new strengths, pack sizes, or formulations to maintain competitiveness in the generic pharmaceutical landscape Deliver portfolio insights related to price erosion, competitive ANDA approvals, and margin performance to guide senior marketing leadership Customer & Vendor Engagement Manage relationships with select third‑party vendors, ensuring partnerships support key product strategies and marketing objectives Understand distinct needs of customers across acute and non‑acute care settings to develop tailored communications, value propositions, and engagement solutions This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, or requirements associated with the role. Qualifications - Skills & Requirements Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills Demonstrated ability to interpret data and develop compelling messaging for clinicians and institutional buyers Advanced Excel skills (v‑lookup, pivot tables, formulas) Experience with IQVIA, IPD Analytics, or similar data sources Strong communication and cross‑functional leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively Experience in generic pharmaceutical marketing required; injectable experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI preferred Ability to work onsite in East Windsor, NJ and travel up to 20% Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 5–8 years of experience in analytics, finance, generic pharmaceutical marketing, or product management Direct experience with generic injectables The starting base compensation range for this position is $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 depending on factors such as experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Final compensation decisions will consider these and other relevant business needs. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus, with target percentages varying by role. The total compensation package may also include discretionary incentives and role‑based monthly allowances (e.g., cell phone or car allowance, where applicable).
