About The Role
As the Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, brand initiatives and events that help grow awareness of Montessori Academy and connect with families across our communities.
You will gain exposure to a broad range of marketing activities including events, content, digital marketing, campaign coordination and brand projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, creative, proactive, detail oriented, and excited to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Coordination
Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across 70+ childcare services.
Assist in coordinating integrated marketing initiatives across digital, print, social and community channels.
Event Planning & Delivery
Coordinate and support events including expos, grand openings, conferences, webinars, galas and community events.
Manage event logistics including suppliers, materials, coordination and on‑day delivery.
Content & Design
Assist in creating marketing materials including newsletters, blogs, brochures and promotional assets for print, digital, and social media.
Support design projects using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Website Management
Update and maintain website content using WordPress CMS.
Photoshoot Coordination
Coordinate photography and videography shoots across Montessori Academy campuses.
Email Marketing
Assist with the development and execution of email marketing campaigns and communications.
Social Media
Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content across Montessori Academy channels, helping showcase our centres, educators and learning environments while strengthening brand engagement.
Research & Insights
Conduct competitor and market research to support marketing strategies.
Assist with survey design, data analysis and customer insights.
Campaign Performance
Support campaign reporting and performance tracking to improve marketing outcomes.
Cross‑Team Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams including operations, leadership and centre managers to support marketing initiatives.
Community Engagement
Assist with engagement with community stakeholders including local organisations, politicians and community groups.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to grow their marketing career.
You Will Bring
A positive, proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative, solve problems and contribute ideas within a fast‑paced team environment.
2+ years experience in a marketing or coordination role (or equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or similar.
Valid driver’s licence required and comfortable travelling to campuses across Sydney to support marketing activities and events.
Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
Experience using social media platforms and content management systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one.
Experience supporting events or marketing campaigns is highly regarded.
Experience in early childhood education or childcare marketing is a plus but not essential.
