
Part-time Visual Content Creator

The Marketing and Communications Office in the Penn State College of Arts and Architecture’s Stuckeman School is seeking a part‑time visual content creator starting the fall semester of 2026 to develop new and engaging content for the school’s digital platforms and to serve as a student ambassador for the Stuckeman social media channels.
This position requires candidates to be currently enrolled as second‑through fourth‑year landscape architecture students at Penn State. The role will require up to 12 hours per week and will offer a starting pay of $14 per hour.
Responsibilities
Capture and create content for digital platforms/social media channels that reflects life at Penn State as a Stuckeman School landscape architecture student would experience it
Edit high‑quality video content
Research social/digital content trends that could be leveraged by our school
Participate in brainstorming new digital content ideas
Seek out potential content collaborators including fellow students, faculty members, researchers, and community members
Assist with analyzing content performance
Attend and document school and departmental events, as needed
Qualifications
Have a passion for landscape architecture and the design disciplines
Are creative and self‑motivated
Are organized and detail‑oriented
Have the ability to connect Stuckeman School goals and values to our overall content strategy
Have experience with video, photography, audio, and/or animation
Understand the current social media landscape
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies.
