Description
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for our Mid‑Market sales organization, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and expanding our customer base in this dynamic segment. Your mission will be to identify, engage, qualify potential leads, and set the stage for productive meetings with our sales team. You will be the catalyst for creating a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities that will directly contribute to the company's revenue growth and success in the Mid‑Market space.
Responsibilities
Strategic Prospecting and Lead Generation – Conduct research to identify high‑potential Mid‑Market clients, leverage various channels (online research, social media, industry events) to uncover new opportunities, qualify leads based on predefined criteria, and develop targeted outbound prospecting campaigns using cold calling, personalized email outreach, and other creative techniques.
Relationship Building and Needs Assessment – Initiate meaningful conversations with key stakeholders, establish trust and credibility, and actively listen to uncover prospects' pain points, challenges, and business objectives related to financial management and accounting.
Appointment Setting and Sales Enablement – Coordinate and schedule high‑impact meetings and product demonstrations, manage calendar availability to maximize productivity, equip prospects with relevant resources, and track and update lead statuses in the CRM.
Market Intelligence and Insight Generation – Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics; synthesize insights to inform strategic decision‑making for marketing, product, and sales teams; contribute to messaging and go‑to‑market strategies for the Mid‑Market segment.
Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills and ability to articulate value propositions persuasively.
Strong interpersonal skills for building and nurturing professional relationships.
Self‑motivated, results‑driven, proactive mindset with a relentless focus on revenue growth.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and understanding of lead tracking best practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
Curiosity and continuous learning mindset; staying updated on industry trends and emerging opportunities in the Mid‑Market QuickBooks space.
Relevant experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, particularly in the Mid‑Market segment.

This is a contract position based out of Plano, TX. The role is fully remote.
Pay and Benefits
Pay: $24.86–$24.86/hr.
