Marketing Director, CV IMPACT, US Cardiovascular Business Unit

Amgen is seeking a Marketing Director for its Cardiovascular Business Unit to lead strategic brand initiatives, support quality‑based care frameworks, and drive the company’s goal of reducing cardiovascular events. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the long‑term vision and strategic roadmap for CV IMPACT. Design and execute innovative initiatives and tactics aligned with brand strategic imperatives. Ensure flawless execution of workstream programs, cross‑stakeholder summits, communication campaigns, and sponsorship pull‑through. Engage regularly with opinion leaders, patient and professional societies, institutional decision‑makers, and payers. Coordinate pull‑through of key programs and brand campaigns across functions and channels. Lead projects through the legal, regulatory, and medical review processes. Manage program budgets and performance metric tracking to ensure success. Qualifications Basic Requirements: Doctorate degree + 4 years of marketing experience Master’s degree + 7 years of marketing experience Bachelor’s degree + 9 years of marketing experience Preferred Qualifications: MBA in marketing, healthcare management, or related field. Track record of increasing responsibility within marketing, V&A, field sales or related areas. Experience in Cardiology or other specialty markets with clinical acumen. Understanding of healthcare quality measures and value‑based care frameworks (e.g., MIPS, HEDIS). Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Cross‑functional collaboration ability in a matrixed, fast‑paced environment. Leadership and influence across partners to set direction and ensure execution. 2+ years of developing, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns for specialty products. Experience managing field sales collaboration for program implementation. Project‑management skills managing multiple vendors and agency partners. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience developing and implementing clinical marketing programs.
