Salary- $170,000+

Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing children's knitwear and activewear brand is currently looking for a Design Director to join the team and oversee all facets of the design process while managing the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full design process ensuring quality and fit are meeting the retailers requirements
• Shape seasonal design strategies and identify emerging trends
• Conduct research, identifying trends, maintaining brand strategy, and executing the design process and merchandising objectives.
• Communicate with the sales team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and approval of designs.
• Mentor and guide the design team, fostering a creative and collaborative environment with product development, and technical design teams.
• Offer support while reviewing and approve samples, fabrics, and color standards.
• Additionally knowledge of activewear/knitwear fabrics is required.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design,
• Proficient in Photoshop, and Illustrator
