As the Supply Chain Sales Representative , you must be based in or willing to relocate to Savannah, GA and possess the Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain market
- Generate leads and proactively prospect clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their supply chain needs and providing tailored solutions
- Present and promote logistics services to potential and existing customers
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Negotiate pricing and contracts that meet both customer needs and company objectives
- Track sales performance and maintain accurate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events as a brand ambassador
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, preferred but not required
- 1+ years of Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience in the logistics, freight, or supply chain industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of transportation modes including LTL, FTL, intermodal, and warehousing services
- Ability to analyze customer needs and market dynamics to develop strategic sales approaches
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite
