Social Media Analyst

Duration: 03+ Months Contract (20 – 30 Hrs/Week)
About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Analyst / Community Coordinator to support a fast-paced social team. This role is focused on day-to-day community engagement, social listening, and performance tracking across social platforms. You will play a key role in helping the brand show up authentically and consistently by interacting with audiences, identifying trends, and sharing insights with the team.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement
- Manage and respond to comments and messages across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Engage with followers and build strong online communities
- Monitor brand mentions and participate in relevant conversations
- Maintain consistent brand voice and tone in all interactions
Social Listening & Trends
- Track social media trends, conversations, and user-generated content (UGC)
- Identify insights, audience sentiment, and engagement opportunities
- Share key findings and recommendations with the team
Performance Tracking
- Monitor engagement metrics such as likes, comments, and impressions
- Provide weekly insights and performance summaries
Required Skills
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Good understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Experience with community engagement or social media (internship experience is acceptable)
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively
- Analytical mindset with basic understanding of performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing or engaging on brand social media accounts
- Familiarity with social media tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.)
- Experience with social listening and trend analysis
