AV Designer – Join Our Growing AV Team

We’re expanding and looking for an experienced AV Designer to help shape the future of our commercial AV offerings. If you know how to build clean, scalable systems — and you’re confident working in QSYS (Level 1 certified is a plus) — this role gives you real ownership and room to grow.

What You’ll Do

• Design commercial AV systems using QSYS as the core platform
• Create schematics, signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and network layouts
• Produce full drawing sets for submittals, permitting, and installation
• Specify equipment from Extron, Crestron, Shure, Epson, and more
• Support installation, commissioning, and final tuning with PMs and field techs
• Program and configure DSPs, control processors, and room audio setups
• Assist with estimating, scope reviews, and BOM development
• Participate in site surveys, walkthroughs, and design revisions
• Provide documentation, standards, and best practices for the team

What You Bring

• Strong QSYS background; Q-SYS Level 1 Certification preferred
• Proven experience designing commercial AV systems end‑to‑end
• Working knowledge of Extron, Crestron, Shure, Epson, and related ecosystems
• Understanding of AV networking (Dante, AES67, VLANs, PoE, switches)
• Ability to read architectural plans and translate them into system designs
• Solid grasp of signal flow, acoustics basics, and device interoperability
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
