Overview
Be part of the talented team behind Auburn Athletics’ video content and creative strategy! The Assistant Director of Creative Video serves as the primary content creator for an assigned sport(s), producing year‑round video for recruiting, social media, in‑venue displays, and fan engagement. This role develops and executes creative strategies in collaboration with internal teams, ensures all content aligns with Auburn Athletics’ brand standards, and stays ahead of emerging trends in digital storytelling. Additionally, the position supports multi‑sport and department‑wide initiatives while assisting in the management of equipment, file storage, and media workflows.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary video content creator for an assigned sport, producing year‑round content for recruiting, social media, in‑venue displays, and fan engagement.
Develop and execute creative strategies in collaboration with the Fan Experience, Communications, and Digital Marketing teams.
Collaborate with full‑time staff on multi‑sport or department‑wide initiatives requiring additional creative support.
Assist the Assistant AD of Creative Video in ensuring all content adheres to Auburn Athletics’ brand identity and production values.
Stay informed on emerging trends in creative video, social media, and digital storytelling to inform and evolve content strategies.
Assist in managing departmental organization of equipment, file storage, and media asset workflows.
May be required to travel and attend events with designated teams.
Complies with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Southeast Conference (SEC) regulations in the performance of job duties.
Qualifications
Level I
Bachelor’s degree
Level II
Bachelor’s degree
2 years of experience in television production, videoboard operation, engineering, or an athletics video production setting.
