Forever Ready Productions is looking for a Video Producer to be part of a team that believes storytelling should drive real impact. This role is built for someone who is confident behind the camera, sharp in the edit, and motivated to create work that serves a bigger purpose. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to produce content for nonprofits and small businesses doing meaningful work in our communities. The Video Producer plays a critical role in understanding the goals of the project, executing the video shoot on site or in studio, capturing stories in the field, creatively editing the video, and contributing to a process that delivers high‑quality results on time and on budget. This role exists to strengthen our production quality, elevate storytelling, and ensure our clients’ stories are told clearly and effectively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Shoot with Confidence and Clarity Lead and support video shoots (camera, lighting, audio) in a variety of environments Capture interviews and b-roll that are both technically strong and story-driven Provide creative direction from start to finish Make real-time decisions on set to ensure quality and efficiency 2. Edit with Purpose Edit projects in Adobe Premiere from start to finish Shape clear, compelling stories that help clients reach their goals Efficiently create work to maximize impact and meet internal & external deadlines 3. Contribute to the Production Process Collaborate with Producers and Client Managers to execute projects from concept to delivery Help translate client goals into effective visual storytelling Stay aligned with project scope, timelines, and expectations 4. Own Your Role on the Team Take initiative in your work without waiting for constant direction Understand the client’s goals in the project from the outset Communicate clearly with team members and clients Receive and apply feedback quickly Show up prepared, organized, and ready to contribute MUST-HAVE SKILLS 2–5 years of experience in video production (news or client-facing work) Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or nonlinear editing software A reel that demonstrates both shooting ability and storytelling Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Strong communication and collaboration skills NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS Experience conducting interviews and shaping story-driven content Familiarity with nonprofit or mission-driven storytelling Ability to lead or assist with creative direction or story development Experience working within structured production workflows or teams Compensation Base Salary ($45,000-$55,000) depending on experience Health/Dental/Vision plan options 401k + Match 3 weeks (120 hours) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Flex‑time Location This role is full‑time, in‑person at our office in Memphis, TN.
