Marketing Lead
Mann Partners is seeking a thoughtful, hands-on, and strategically minded
Marketing Lead
to build and execute the firm’s marketing and public relations efforts. This role is responsible for shaping marketing strategy, creating thought leadership content, strengthening brand visibility, managing external PR relationships, and developing the materials and programs that support market presence and business growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. The right candidate brings strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create polished, audience-aware content while managing multiple initiatives across marketing, PR, digital presence, and events.
What You’ll Do
Create and manage the firm’s
marketing strategy and plan
in alignment with business priorities. Establish
marketing and brand objectives and KPIs
and measure performance against them. Develop
thought leadership and content
for marketing and public relations programs. Design and execute
email outreach programs
and targeted campaigns. Define
trigger marketing targets and audience criteria
to improve segmentation and outreach. Measure, analyze, and report on
marketing and brand performance , translating results into actionable recommendations. Conduct
brand awareness and reputation surveys
to assess visibility and market perception. Create and manage the
marketing budget , including prioritization of spend against business goals. Lead
publicity relationships and programs , including coordination with external partners and media-related activities. Design presentations and materials for
conferences, road shows, webinars, newsletters, and blogs . Identify, evaluate, and negotiate
conference participation, sponsorships, and related visibility opportunities . Maintain
website design, functionality, and content freshness
to ensure a strong and current digital presence. Develop
base sales collateral
and other brand-consistent marketing materials.
What We’re Looking For
At least
3 years of experience
in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related role. Experience developing and executing
marketing strategies, plans, objectives, and KPIs . Strong experience creating
content and thought leadership
across multiple channels, including presentations, email campaigns, newsletters, blogs, and webinars. Experience measuring, analyzing, and reporting on
marketing and brand performance . Experience managing
marketing budgets
and aligning spending with business goals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished, audience-appropriate messaging and materials. Experience managing external partners such as
PR firms, media contacts, conference organizers, or sponsors . Experience designing and executing
email outreach or targeted marketing campaigns . Experience maintaining
website content
and ensuring consistency across brand materials. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage
multiple initiatives, deadlines, and stakeholders
at once.
Preferred Background
Experience building marketing strategy for a
small business, founder-led firm, consulting business, or professional services organization . Experience leading
publicity programs
that increase market visibility and brand awareness. Experience conducting
brand awareness, reputation, or market perception surveys . Experience identifying target audiences, trigger criteria, and
campaign segmentation strategies . Experience creating
sales collateral, conference materials, and executive-ready presentations . Experience negotiating
conference participation, sponsorships, or speaking opportunities . Familiarity with
website content management systems, email marketing platforms, CRM tools, and marketing analytics tools . Bachelor’s degree in
marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field , or equivalent relevant experience.
