Mistral is seeking a seasoned Director, Loitering Munitions to support the execution of our multiple defense contracts. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Bethesda, MD headquarters reporting to the Senior Vice President, Business Development.

Primary Responsibilities : Serve as the program lead and manager for execution of Loitering Munition contract(s), ensuring timely and compliant delivery of all contract deliverables Act as the primary point of contact with the DoD ensuring clear and open communication in the execution of contract deliverables while establishing trusted relationships with government and industry stakeholders Translate contractual requirements into executable technical and production plans Exert mature leadership and clearly communicate goals and objectives to the company's partners. Keeping partners informed on a regular basis to achieve planned goals and objectives. Oversee all aspects of program management, manufacturing, integration, and testing Oversees supply chain coordination, vendor performance, and material procurement for critical components Lead cross-functional team through production ramp-up, quality assurance, and fielding Fully accountable and responsible for program on time execution, quality, and budget adherence. Maintain clear communication with upper management on program risks and risk mitigation plan. Support and participate in program reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), and warfighter demonstrations Ensure regulatory compliance with ITAR, DoD cyber, security, safety, contracting, and inspection requirements Develop and report on key program metrics including cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: BS/BA Degree – or equivalent experience; MBA or Masters degree desired. PMP Certification desired. At least 5 years leading Department of Defense programs. Additional experience with government contracts or veteran status a plus. Must possess or be eligible for Secret clearance.
