District Sales Manager, Medical Device

We’re looking for a

District Sales Manager

to lead growth across a

Virginia Beach/Richmond territory

for an innovative medical device company focused on improving patient outcomes in chronic pain care.

This is a high-impact, field-based sales role for someone who knows how to build business, cover cases,

develop surgeon and physician relationships , and

drive territory performance . The right person will be equally comfortable in the OR, in clinics and surgery centers, and out prospecting for new opportunities.

Territory & Location Territory Coverage:

Virginia Beach, VA (primary) and Richmond, VA (secondary) Work Environment:

Field-based / remote (no office requirement) Travel:

Daily travel within the territory (~50%)

Responsibilities Drive territory growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities Build and expand relationships with surgeons, physicians, clinicians, and key decision-makers Provide operating room case coverage and procedural support Partner closely with patients and providers throughout the treatment journey Develop and execute territory business plans to meet or exceed sales goals Educate customers on product usage, clinical value, and best practices Track activity, manage opportunities, and maintain accurate pipeline visibility Represent the company at local events, educational programs, and industry meetings Monitor competitive activity and help position the product effectively in the market

Qualifications 3+ years of medical device sales experience

with a strong track record of success Operating room sales / case coverage

experience strongly preferred Proven ability to prospect, hunt, and win new business Strong relationship-building skills with

physicians

and

clinical stakeholders Experience working in a highly autonomous field sales role Demonstrated history of quota attainment, sales awards, or top performance Excellent communication and presentation skills High level of empathy and professionalism when working with patients Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the territory

Preferred Skills Experience in

implantables, pain management, neuromodulation, spine, trauma,

or

other

procedural/surgical device

sales Existing relationships in the

Virginia Beach / Richmond market

Compensation & Benefits On-Target Earnings (OTE):

~$130,000 – $180,000+ (flexible for top performers) Base Salary:
