
AV IT Consultant

The Panther Group is seeking a W2 Contract, Audio-Visual Consultant with one of our partners, a law firm in New York, NY. This role is 100% onsite and is a 6 month addition to the team. This role is seeking local talent only and will not consider candidates that need to relocate. Must have forward facing, white glove support experience.

Primary Responsibilities include:
Audio-Visual Support: Sets up, installs, operates, tests, and troubleshoots audio and visual equipment, including setting up equipment used to enhance live events, such as laptops, projectors, screens, and microphones. Operates sound equipment and conference room lighting. Performs sound checks for Video Conferences and dry run meetings, while resolving equipment issues that may arise. Provides stand-by support for conferences and video conferences. Responds to conference room attendee technology requests and needs and troubleshoot problems using standard tools. Conducts inventory of conference room equipment and technology supplies, such as chargers, AC adapters, batteries, and clickers, and orders supplies as needed.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
Technical Service and Equipment Support: Assists as a second-level technical resource to resolve customer problems and provide technical leadership to other local AV resources. Maintains the operational availability of all computer-related equipment and AV resources including laptops, desktops, printers, servers, data communication equipment, network infrastructure, telephone equipment and audio-visual systems. Performs, maintains, and adheres to Firm-wide and departmental policies, standards, operational guidelines, and administrative procedures relating to IS function. Provide technical support and assistance outside of normal business hours as required. Experience providing support in Windows 10 and iOS environments. Experience providing support on Microsoft Office products, Exchange and SCCM Superior experience with computer hardware, printers, smartphones, and audio-visual communications equipment Physically able to move and set up equipment.
EXPERIENCE Experience providing AV support in a Legal or Professional Services environment
with attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, and problem-solving while remaining calm. Experience with
Cisco Video Conferencing
equipment preferred
Pay Rate $40 an hour W2 (This role has the potential to convert to full time after 6 months)
