BSA / AML Analyst (Contract)

The Opportunity Winston Staffing
has been retained by a leading commercial banking client in Nassau County to identify a skilled
BSA Analyst
for an immediate, high-priority project. If you are a detail-oriented professional with 1–3 years of experience in BSA/AML transaction monitoring and are looking to hit the ground running with a reputable institution, we want to hear from you. This is an
on-site, 8–10 week contract assignment
with an immediate start date.
Key Performance Objectives Transaction Monitoring & Alert Resolution:
Efficiently review and clear alerts generated by the Bank’s BSA/AML monitoring system, ensuring all potential risks are escalated for further review within strict timeframes. Compliance Data Integrity:
Conduct daily monitoring of data scan audit logs, OFAC reviews, and unvalidated transactions to maintain 100% data accuracy. Due Diligence & Documentation:
Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk customers and meticulously review Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for consistency and regulatory alignment. Reporting Excellence:
Assist in the accurate preparation and timely submission of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) in compliance with federal mandates.
The Ideal Candidate Experience:
1–3 years of direct experience in BSA/AML, specifically focusing on Monitoring Transaction Alerts. Knowledge:
Solid understanding of BSA/AML laws, regulations, and the automated monitoring systems utilized in a commercial banking environment. Mindset:
A proactive, "can-do" attitude with the ability to manage high-volume data without sacrificing quality. Availability:
Must be able to start immediately and work on-site at our client’s Nassau County location.
Project Details Duration:
Approximately 8–10 weeks (Contract). Location:
Nassau County, NY (100% On-site). Timeline:
