Job Description The AML Account Closure Analyst supports anti-money laundering reviews and investigations to determine whether a customer relationship should be exited. This is an entry-level compliance role focused on account activity review, case documentation, SAR-related research, and recommending relationship closure where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities Assist with AML reviews and investigations of account activity. Document findings, prepare case files, and organize supporting evidence. Support case disposition in line with service-level agreements. Follow up with internal stakeholders to gather additional information. Review investigative history, including SAR filings, to support closure recommendations. Draft written recommendations for relationship closure when needed. Communicate compliance, legal, and AML issues to senior management. Escalate and report control issues with transparency and sound judgment.
Qualifications 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work in a compliance, risk, or investigative environment. Good judgment, professionalism, and communication skills.
