We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Servicing & Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate loan maintenance, managing borrower communications, and proactively handling collections on delinquent accounts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day servicing operations while helping minimize portfolio risk and deliver excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Complete loan maintenance requests, including updates, corrections, and account changes Correspond with borrowers via phone, email, and written communication regarding account inquiries and payment status Collect borrower payments and perform outbound collection calls on delinquent accounts Negotiate repayment plans and assist borrowers with resolving past-due balances Research and resolve loan-related issues, including missing payments, payment discrepancies, and disputed accounts Enter loan boarding and purchase information accurately into servicing systems Interact with and process requests from investors and third-party partners Maintain detailed and accurate records of borrower interactions and servicing activity Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements Support internal teams and assist with additional servicing or collections-related duties as needed Requirements Prior experience in mortgage loan servicing, collections, banking, or customer service preferred Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with borrowers, investors, and internal teams Ability to work independently, take initiative, and carry assignments through to completion Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Armenian is highly desirable Why Join CAKE Mortgage?
