Job Title: Cabinet Builder - WEEKLY PAY - $18 TO $20/HOUR - GREAT BENEFITS - OT AVAILABLE The Cutting Processor plays a key role in a large custom cabinet manufacturing facility by accurately cutting finished and specialized panels and supporting multiple production departments. You will begin in the trim department, gain exposure to up to four different areas throughout the day, and have the opportunity to grow into other departments and advance over time. This is a hands-on, full-time role working with woodworking machinery and tools in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Cut finished and specialized panels according to production specifications and quality standards. Operate and monitor woodworking equipment, including table saws and edge band machines, to ensure efficient and accurate cutting. Detect malfunctions in machines, inspect parts for defects, and take corrective action as needed. Adjust machine controls and settings to maintain proper operation and product quality. Replace blades and other tooling components safely and correctly when required. Prepare machines for production by setting up materials, calibrating equipment, and verifying measurements. Clean and maintain equipment, tooling, and parts to ensure safe and reliable operation. Use hand and power tools, including tape measures, for precise measurement, assembly, and inspection tasks. Work across multiple departments throughout the day, supporting general production, trimming, and related woodworking activities. Follow all safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment, and help maintain a safe, organized work area. Perform other production and general labor duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing goals. Essential Skills At least 6 months of previous work experience in a production, manufacturing, construction, or similar hands-on environment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to pass a tape measure test and read measurements accurately. Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep up with training and production demands. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic proficiency with tape measures and other measuring tools for precise cutting and assembly. Comfort working with woodworking equipment such as table saws and edge band machines. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed cutting and assembly tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, general labor, or general production work. Experience in construction, carpentry, cabinet making, or cabinetry. Prior experience with saw operation, including table saws and related woodworking machinery. Experience with inspection of parts and finished products for quality. Ability to work collaboratively with a large production team. Interest in learning new skills and cross-training in multiple departments. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing consistent daytime hours. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes and clothing without offensive content, with an emphasis on safety and practicality on the production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
