Role Summary: This is a newly created, enterprise-level leadership role responsible for building, scaling, and operationalizing Flagship's Executive Assistant and Administrative function. Reporting to the SVP, Asset Management & Real Estate Operations, this role leads a centralized team of 30+ professionals who support senior leaders across the Flagship ecosystem. The Director will define how executive support operates at scaletransitioning from high-quality, individual support to a coordinated, standardized, and strategically aligned function. This includes establishing operating models, setting performance expectations, and ensuring consistent service delivery across teams and companies. This role is both operational and strategic: you will directly manage people and performance while also designing systems, structures, and standards that elevate executive support into a formalized, high-impact capability across Flagship. As A Director, Executive & Administrative Services, You Will: Lead, manage, and develop a team of 30+ Executive Assistants and administrative professionals, setting clear expectations for performance, accountability, and service quality. Own performance management across the function, including coaching, feedback, calibration, and corrective action. Define and formalize the Executive Assistant role at Flagship, including scope, expectations, boundaries, and success metrics, and establish structured career pathways and development frameworks. Design, implement, and continuously evolve a scalable executive support operating model, including optimal EA-to-executive ratios aligned to organizational needs. Establish and enforce enterprise-wide service standards, while standardizing workflows across meeting management, presentations, travel, and executive communications. Implement tools, templates, and process improvements, including AI and automation, to drive efficiency, consistency, and executive effectiveness. Monitor workload distribution, capacity, and coverage to ensure reliability, and serve as the escalation point for complex executive support challenges. Lead administrative components of cross-functional initiatives, partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring, and proactively adapt team structure to support organizational growth. Who You Are: Ability to work in our Cambridge, MA office on a consistent basis, at minimum 4 days a week, to support the team's needs. 10+ years of Progressive Executive Assistant experience, preferably at the "C" suite level. Demonstrated experience leading or managing Executive Assistants or administrative teams at scale. Exceptional judgement, discretion, and executive presence with the gravitas and confidence to engage senior leaders directly and constructively influence outcomes in high-stakes environments. Experience leading organizational design effort of administrative functions. Strong performance management and coaching capability. Ability to set boundaries and manage difficult conversations with senior stakeholders. Highly effective relationship builder with the ability to influence across levels and functions Demonstrated ability to lead through change in a high-growth, high-expectation environment. The salary range for this role is $172,000 - $236,500. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
