Location: Tulsa Workplace type: Hybrid Ingredion is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Support Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring excellent customer experience through accurate order processing, issue resolution, and close collaboration with internal teams. As a Customer Support Associate, you will support customers throughout the order management lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement while acting as a key liaison between customers and internal partners. This role reports to the Customer Support Leadership team and does not have direct reports. What will you do: Process customer orders for ingredient products, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and address questions in a timely manner. Participate in the department's after-hours support program as required. Ensure accuracy of order data and act as a subject matter expert in order processing systems and workflows, including performing basic mathematical calculations related to deliveries, lead times, and freight. Maintain up-to-date records and documentation following standard operating procedures, ensuring proper distribution of order and return documentation to internal partners. Track and manage customer complaints according to departmental and company procedures. Develop and maintain knowledge of Ingredion's products to provide accurate and value-added information to customers. Collaborate with internal teams to identify issues, propose solutions, implement corrective actions, and recommend process improvements. What you will bring: 13 years of experience in customer support, order management, or a related role. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and/or EDI systems preferred. Ability to execute fundamental tasks such as order entry, customer complaint resolution, and basic problem solving. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any). Incentive Compensation: As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
