Our client is personal injury litigation firm practicing in New Jersey and New York and they are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organizedLegal Assistantto support their attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism. The salary is $54,000-$58,000 per year The role: Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings. Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical) using our case management system FileVine Assist with discovery, including drafting subpoenas, organizing exhibits, and managing document production Schedule appointments, court dates, mediations, and client meetings Communicate with clients, courts, adversaries, and vendors professionally Perform legal research and gather relevant case-related information as needed Manage calendars, deadlines, and attorney reminders Handle administrative duties such as scanning, copying, mail distribution, and data entry Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a legal support role preferred. Strong understanding of legal terminology and litigation processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management software Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Must be based near or in Bergen County to work Why is This a Great Opportunity:
