About the Role

IntelliHaul is seeking a high-caliber Senior Sales Manager to spearhead our East Coast expansion. You will be the primary driver for new customer acquisition, focusing on the sale and leasing of our commercial Electric Vehicle (EV) fleet.

This is not a traditional retail role; we are looking for a "hunter" with deep roots in commercial car dealerships who understands the mechanics of fleet leasing, municipal contracts, and the logistical shift to electrification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and close new B2B opportunities across the East Coast (NY, NJ, PA, CT, etc.), targeting logistics companies, last-mile delivery providers, and corporate fleets.
  • Sales & Leasing Execution: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for commercial EVs, including structuring lease agreements, financing options, and long-term service contracts.
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a subject matter expert, helping traditional fleet managers navigate the ROI of switching from diesel/gas to EV (including charging infrastructure and federal/state incentives).
  • Regional Strategy: Build and maintain a robust pipeline in the New Jersey hub to serve the dense Northeast corridor.
  • Relationship Management: Leverage your existing network of commercial dealership contacts and fleet buyers to accelerate market entry.


Candidate Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of professional sales experience, with a mandatory background in commercial car dealerships (Fleet Sales, Commercial Accounts, or B2B Operations).
  • Leasing Expertise: Proven track record in structuring commercial vehicle leases and understanding residual values, depreciation, and fleet financing.
  • EV Aptitude: Strong interest or experience in Electric Vehicles (knowledge of J1772/NACS charging, battery range, and EV incentives like the NJ Zero-Emission Incentive Program is a major plus).
  • Network: An established "rolodex" of East Coast fleet buyers and commercial stakeholders.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel across the East Coast to meet clients and close deals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience transitioning clients from traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) fleets to electric.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot) to track long-lead-time enterprise deals.
  • Located in or near New Jersey for central access to the tri-state logistics hub.
