Ocean Export Coordinator | Miami, Florida | Salary: Up to $65,000
This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end export process for ocean shipments, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and delivering exceptional service to clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from booking through final delivery Prepare and review export documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings) Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and international shipping requirements Communicate with carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and overseas agents Track shipments and proactively update customers on status and potential delays Arrange cargo bookings with ocean carriers and negotiate rates when necessary Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information Resolve shipment issues, discrepancies, or delays efficiently Maintain accurate records in the company’s logistics systems Ensure all files are completed and invoiced in a timely manner
Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in ocean export freight forwarding Strong knowledge of export documentation and procedures Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations and AES filing requirements Experience working with ocean carriers and international agents Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
