National Sales Executive (Itasca)

Lead and grow national sales for a CPG importer and distributor. Own existing key accounts, drive new national retail partnerships, and build sales strategy across retailers, distributors, and brokers. Reporting directly to ownership, this role is the primary driver of revenue growth.

What You’ll Do: Own national and regional sales across grocery retailers Grow existing accounts and aggressively pursue new national business Sell direct to retailers while managing distributor and broker relationships Drive new business acquisition with a “hunter” mindset Build pricing, promotion, and trade spend strategies by account Launch go‑to‑market plans for shelf‑stable grocery products Deliver ~$1M in new revenue within the first year Represent the brand at trade shows and key customer meetings (10–20% travel) Help build and scale the sales function long‑term

Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant experience Experience working with distributors and National Grocer Accounts Willingness to travel as needed Strong communication and organizational skills
