Position Summary The Contracts Specialist (Level 3) is responsible for supporting successful business outcomes by providing contractual, business, and risk-mitigation guidance across new and ongoing programs. This role contributes to achieving key business and financial objectives, including orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow. The position requires proficient knowledge of contract management, regulatory compliance, and project execution, with the ability to manage contracts and projects under general supervision.

What You'll do: Influence positive business outcomes by supporting contractual strategies aligned with financial and operational objectives. Provide business, contractual, and risk mitigation guidance to internal stakeholders. Analyze new laws, regulations, and contract trends to assess potential impacts on business unit goals and objectives. Interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions to protect company interests Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g., DFARS), and other agency regulations. Review and analyze complex or unique contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions for regulatory and policy compliance. Manage contractual aspects of solicitations, proposal development, contract changes, and overall contract administration. Serve as the primary contractual interface with customers. Support contract negotiations and formation strategies to maximize cash flow and achieve business objectives. Recommend enhancements to systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the contracts function.
What You'll bring: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of contracts administration experience OR Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience Minimum 2 years working knowledge of applicable regulations, including the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Minimum 4 years experience supporting contract review, proposal development, contract change control, and overall contract administration
