Position Summary: The

Regional Sales Manager- Industrial Equipment

is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share within a defined multi-state region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment sales, preferably with experience in vacuum systems, or environmental equipment.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow sales within the assigned region through direct customer contact, distributor support, and strategic account development. Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with corporate goals and revenue targets. Identify and engage new customers, markets, and applications for Hi-Vac equipment and services. Provide technical support and product presentations to prospective and existing customers. Partner with product management, engineering, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective solutions. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, territory activity reports, and CRM updates. Represent Hi-Vac at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites. Provide market intelligence and competitive feedback to internal teams.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 5 years of proven success in B2B industrial equipment sales; experience in vacuum systems, hydro-excavators, or similar heavy-duty equipment preferred. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain mechanical systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel 50–70% of the time within the region. Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Attributes: Existing relationships with contractors, municipalities, and industrial service providers. Experience working with dealer/distributor networks. Knowledge of industrial cleaning, environmental remediation, or construction equipment industries.
