Social Media Manager – Job Description

Role Overview We are seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented
Social Media Manager
to lead and execute our social strategy across all platforms. This role is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, tracking, and optimizing content that reflects our brand vision and drives measurable engagement. This individual will own the full lifecycle of social media: campaign ideation, asset creation, influencer relationships, sampling coordination, event coverage, spend tracking, and performance reporting. The role requires both creative instinct and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop and manage a structured social media calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, launches, events, and trade initiatives. Propose and execute original campaign ideas that elevate brand presence and engagement. Ensure all social activity supports brand positioning and business objectives. Influencer, Community & Growth Management Identify, outreach, and manage influencer and affiliate relationships; coordinate product sampling and track deliverables Manage Instagram and TikTok community engagement (comments, DMs, interactions) to build audience and brand affinity Drive TikTok Shop growth and GMV, including product tagging, content alignment, and performance tracking Monitor campaign performance, influencer ROI, giveaways, and associated budgets Content Creation & Execution Create and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and emerging platforms as relevant. Produce assets including static posts, short-form video, reels, carousels, captions, and stories. Collaborate with internal creative teams to maintain brand consistency and visual excellence. Execute the brand vision with strong attention to detail, tone, and aesthetics. Event & Showroom Coverage Attend and capture live content from trade shows, markets, showroom events, and brand activations. Translate on-site moments into compelling, polished social content. Ensure timely publishing and strong storytelling around events. Performance & Budget Tracking Track paid and organic social performance metrics (engagement, reach, traffic, CTR, conversions). Monitor social media spend and influencer/giveaway budgets. Provide structured reporting with actionable insights.
Qualifications Required 5-7+ years of social media management experience; preferably in home, lifestyle, fashion or luxury space Proven ability to manage social strategy end-to-end; familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools (Notion, Later, Aspire, G4A, Semrush etc or similar tools) Strong content creation skills (copywriting + visual sensibility) using AI tools Experience managing influencer campaigns and product sampling. Demonstrated experience tracking performance metrics and campaign ROI. Ability to work independently and execute without heavy oversight. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic video editing and content production capabilities. Understanding of paid social amplification strategies.
