Sr. Mechanical Engineer – Oro Valley, AZ (1st shift) Mechanical engineering role focused on aerospace electronic component design and packaging. Key Skills: Advanced Mechanical Engineering experience (8+ years) SolidWorks (3D CAD) and 2D drafting FEA (preferably ANSYS) – structural & thermal analysis Aerospace standards knowledge (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP) – plus Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently Responsibilities: Design electronic packaging for aerospace hardware Create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and assembly docs Perform weight analysis, prototyping, and testing Conduct FEA and technical reporting Lead design reviews, risk analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA) Support engineering change orders and process improvements Mentor junior engineers and support site engineering strategy Requirements: Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering 8+ years relevant experience Strong CAD, FEA, and mechanical design background Available for flexible shifts, overtime as needed
