About the Role As the School Partnerships Manager at Lando, you’ll own our relationships with over 100 schools across our home community of the SF Bay Area. From building trust with school administrators, to partnering with PTAs, to supporting enrichment coordinators in getting-the-word-out about classes—you’ll deepen the relationships that are at the center of everything we do.
Real Ownership:
You’ll own relationships with principals, school administrators, and PTA Presidents across the Bay Area while finding opportunities for us to be more impactful members of their community. Passionate, High-performing Team:
Work closely with our tight-knit group of 15 core teammates, and 150+ instructors who share a mission of transforming education. Mission-Driven Culture:
We believe every student deserves access to engaging and educational classes that empower them to explore their passions. When you strengthen a partnership, you're directly expanding what's possible for kids and families in that community.
Responsibilities
Build Relationships and Learn Context:
Visit 35+ schools a week and ensure that administrators, families, and district staff know of us as a local, caring after school enrichment partner. Keep Meticulous Notes:
Know each school deeply: who are the decision makers, what does the community need, how are our enrollment trends, what's coming up, and keep this information organized. Close Gaps:
Visit nearby schools in communities we already serve to help us naturally expand into schools where nearby administrators already know us. Educate and Share:
Keep flyers current, coordinate with PTAs, attend back-to-school nights and school events, and find creative ways to get the word out. Collaborate Across Teams:
Partner with product and teaching teams to better serve our school communities, collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Multi-site or Portfolio Experience: You've managed multiple accounts, schools, relationships, sites, or partnerships at once. Organized and Operationally Strong: You need to hold a lot of context in your head, switch between 12–15 conversations a day without losing track, and prioritize on the fly. Comfortable with structured tools and daily routes. Natural Relationship Builder and Confident Communicator: Someone people are happy to see walk in the door. You remember names and follow up on the small things. Comfortable on the Road: Most of your day is in the field. You enjoy driving and have reliable transportation. Demonstrated passion for education or youth enrichment (volunteer tutoring, camp counseling, etc.) is highly desired
