Our client, an independent RIA serving
ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients , is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Portfolio Analyst
handling trading, portfolio management and analysis to join their team. This role is critical to the execution of investment strategies, daily trading workflows, and overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a
process-driven environment , brings strong attention to detail, and is passionate about supporting both advisors and clients at a high level.
Key Responsibilities Trading, Rebalancing & Portfolio Operations Aggregate, validate, and execute trades in alignment with portfolio models and client guidelines Support
quarterly rebalancing
and ad-hoc trading activity Monitor account drift, cash balances, and portfolio allocations Maintain accurate portfolio data within the firm’s portfolio management system Assist with investment research and portfolio analysis
Client Service & Advisor Support Prepare onboarding documentation and maintain accurate client records across systems Serve as a point of contact for
advisor and client service requests Support pre-meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up for advisors Prepare and distribute
client performance reports Open, transfer, and maintain accounts with custodians Process money movements including wires, ACHs, RMDs, and check requests Monitor daily workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution
Technology & Process Optimization Serve as a
subject matter expert
across firm systems (portfolio management, CRM, trading platforms, planning tools, client vault) Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and operational accuracy Assist in implementing and refining processes as the firm continues to grow
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 2–4 years of experience in
investment operations, trading, or client service
within an RIA or wealth management firm Series 65 required Experience working with custodians such as Fidelity or Schwab Familiarity with portfolio management platforms (Orion or similar preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a client-first mindset
