Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Grower based in Belton, TX. The Grower will oversee and manage all stages of crop production, including plant propagation, monitoring, and harvesting. Responsibilities include maintaining optimal growing conditions, managing environmental controls, overseeing pest and disease management, and ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards. Collaboration with production staff and accurate record-keeping will be essential aspects of this role. The Grower plays a critical role in implementing innovative cultivation practices to drive overall crop yield and quality.
Qualifications Experience in plant propagation, crop production, and hydroponic cultivation Knowledge of environmental controls, irrigation systems, and pest and disease management Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment and materials Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance standards Degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field is a plus Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced agricultural environment
