Job Description: Lead end-to-end EasyMesh development within the RDK-B framework, covering architecture, implementation, interoperability, and operator deployment Represent the organization as an active member of the RDKB EasyMesh working group, collaborating with industry stakeholders to commercialize RDKB EasyMesh solutions Drive WFA (Wi-Fi Alliance) EasyMesh certification programs — owning test planning, execution, and resolution of certification failures Lead interoperability efforts with third-party EasyMesh controllers (e.g., Airties) and validate against operator-specific deployment requirements Manage operator adoption processes — engaging directly with cable and broadband operators on feature requirements, field issues, and roadmap alignment Define and enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and CI/CD processes across the team
Required Skills: Deep expertise in IEEE 802.11 standards: 802.11a/b/g
(Wi-Fi 4), 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E), 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7), WFA specification (Easymesh) Hands-on proficiency in Wi-Fi user-space tools and modules: wpa_supplicant, hostapd, iw, nl80211 Strong Linux kernel knowledge — Wi-Fi driver development, cfg80211
l80211 architecture Proficiency in C and C++; working knowledge of Python and Java Experience in RDKB platform is preferable. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, 802.1X/EAP authentication, and network diagnostics tools (Wireshark, tcpdump) Experience with WFA certification tooling: sigma-dut, QuickTrack, testbed configuration, wireshark etc. Proficiency with version control systems: git (primary), Perforce, SVN Familiarity with project tracking tools: Jira, Buganizer
