Boston (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)
We are partnering with a global, multi-billion-dollar enterprise to hire a VP-level leader to build and scale an Organizational Design capability across the business.
This role is focused exclusively on
how the company is structured to execute —including operating models, organizational design, and team effectiveness at enterprise scale. It sits within Talent Management, but functions as an internal strategy capability focused on organizational structure and performance—not HR programs.
What You’ll Own: Design enterprise operating models and organizational structures aligned to business strategy Build and scale practical org design frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks used across business units Lead organizational design efforts tied to growth, transformation, and integration initiatives Partner with senior executives to define decision rights, structure, and team design Create scalable approaches that enable leaders to redesign their organizations effectively
What This Role Is: A

establishing a repeatable org design capability across a global company A blend of
strategy + execution , with a strong emphasis on real-world deployment A
high-impact individual contributor
role with enterprise-level influence
What This Role Is NOT: Not an HR Business Partner or Talent Management program role Not focused on training, engagement, or employee experience Not continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma
What You Bring: 12-20+ years of experience in
organizational design, operating model design, or enterprise transformation Proven track record of designing and implementing
organizational structures at scale Experience building
frameworks that have been deployed across multiple business units Background in top-tier consulting (organizational design / operating model focus) and/or leading org design within a large, complex enterprise Ability to translate strategy into
practical, repeatable tools
that drive adoption
