About the Company
Working with a leading engineering firm looking to bring on a Senior Resident Engineer to oversee major infrastructure projects across the Chicago area (Downers Grove/Lisle).
About the Role This is a high-impact, field leadership role where you’ll be responsible for managing construction activities, leading field staff, and ensuring quality delivery on roadway, bridge, and transportation projects.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Registered Professional Engineer in IL. Fifteen or more (15+) years' experience. Demonstrated success as a Resident Engineer on major transportation projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Required Skills Strong experience in construction oversight (DOT / transportation projects preferred) Proven leadership managing field teams and contractors Ability to own projects from a construction and execution standpoint
Pay range and compensation package $150k–$225k+ Compensation is highly competitive and flexible for the right person.
