Job Overview The Web Accessories & Compatibility Team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of product associations between all items in the B&H catalog. The department’s goal is to elevate B&H’s customers’ shopping experience by guiding them, at scale, to a curated selection of compatible accessories that enriches their purchase.
Responsibilities
Conduct extensive research within assigned categories to determine suitable accessory relationships; stay current on product knowledge and emerging technologies.
Apply basic merchandising techniques to determine optimal accessory hierarchy.
Utilize B&H’s proprietary PIM system to create and maintain appropriate product relationships.
Run and analyze multiple reports to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
Regularly meet with manager and team to discuss department goals and challenges.
Partner with Buyers and Sales staff to prepare for and respond to company and customer needs.
Collaborate with Navigation Architects to update refinement data.
Simultaneously work on additional department projects and initiatives.
Special projects as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2–4 years experience in either selling or utilizing pro video gear, PTZ cameras, video rigs, gimbals and drones.
Skilled researcher.
Innately curious and fast learner.
Experience with data acquisition and analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Understanding of target customer needs and online shopping behavior.
Must be exceptionally detailed‑oriented and highly organized.
Solid understanding of website structure, category hierarchy and refinement filtering.
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science degree.
