Job Description Renesas has a growing presence in India with HC approaching 1000+ and significant presence with active government and university collaboration as well as OSAT footprint (JV with CG India). With the growing importance of India as a market and talent hub, our division’s (India for India) mission is to grow the Indian market. We aspire to create products (SoCs, Software, Power and Analog chips etc) which serve needs for the local market.

Role Objective Own and drive segment for India for India –level growth strategy by translating market, customer, and application insights into clear value propositions, portfolio priorities, and GTM execution, enabling sustained revenue growth and design‑win leadership across targeted segments.

Key Responsibilities 1. Segment Strategy & Market Leadership for India for India segment

Define segment strategy aligned for India for India segment

Own TAM / SAM / SOM sizing and growth forecasting for assigned segments

2. Customer & Application Insight Ownership

Develop deep customer understanding across OEMs, Tier‑1s, and startups

Identify design‑in decision drivers: cost, reliability, functional safety, certifications, lifecycle, supply assurance

3. Value Proposition & Positioning

Define segment‑specific value propositions aligned to India market needs

Enable price–performance and solution‑based selling (not part‑based selling)

4. Go‑To‑Market (GTM) Execution

Drive India GTM plans for the chosen India for India segments

Work closely with regional sales to define target accounts, focus customers, and design‑win strategy

Enable sales with segment playbooks, battle cards, pitch decks, and training

Key Deliverables / Success Metrics (KPIs)

Segment revenue growth & design‑win funnel (YoY) & Segment BWIN

Number and quality of strategic design‑ins in target applications and help sales to drive the business

Market share improvement in focus segments and identify competition

GTM execution effectiveness (launch readiness, sales enablement adoption)

Customer satisfaction and strategic account engagement quality
