Your Role at Sephora: Ready for a career glow up? As
Manager, Social Impact – Community Engagement , you’ll be the connector between our people and the programs that bring Sephora’s social impact mission to life across the U.S. The work you do will impact beauty, as you design, execute, and scale employee giving, volunteering, and community engagement programs that inspire participation and drive measurable impact. You’ll be part of a team that’s united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about building inclusive communities and creating meaningful social change.
What You’ll Do:
Lead day-to-day execution of Sephora’s
employee giving and volunteer programs , including Benevity, Volunteer Month, and Community Impact initiatives
Plan and execute
enterprise-wide giving campaigns , including disaster response and cause-based activations, driving engagement across 18,000+ employees
Build and scale
repeatable processes and playbooks
to streamline logistics, communications, and data tracking across programs
Partner cross-functionally with
DEI, Marketing, Communications, and HR teams
to activate programs tied to heritage months and key initiatives
Develop and deliver
compelling communications, presentations, and storytelling
to engage employees and inform leadership
Manage program budgets (~$2M), including
invoice processing, forecasting, and reconciliation
in partnership with Finance
Track and analyze
program performance and KPIs , delivering insights and recommendations to improve engagement and impact
Support
CSR and DEI reporting , including contributions to global reporting such as LVMH CSR deliverables
Build relationships across
stores, distribution centers, and FSC teams , gathering feedback and translating insights into program enhancements
Pilot and scale new engagement strategies, ensuring programs are impactful, inclusive, and aligned to business goals
Support
product donation programs and partnerships
(e.g., Project Glimmer), including logistics, vendor coordination, and internal requests
Stay informed on industry trends and bring forward
best practices in corporate philanthropy and employee engagement
What You’ll Bring:
4+ years of experience implementing and scaling
employee engagement, volunteer, or social impact programs
in a corporate environment
Strong operational expertise in
program management, logistics, and process optimization , with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Experience managing
budgets, tracking KPIs, and delivering data-driven insights
to stakeholders
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with
cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Background in
social impact, CSR, ESG, or community engagement , ideally within a large or complex organization
Strong communication skills with experience building
presentations, campaigns, and internal communications
Proficiency in
Excel, Smartsheet, and reporting tools , with the ability to manage and analyze data effectively
Experience with
employee giving platforms (e.g., Benevity)
or similar tools is a plus
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a
fast-paced, evolving environment
Ability to balance
strategic thinking with hands-on execution , bringing ideas to life from concept through delivery
