Product Management Assistant – The Urban Electric Co. A Product Management Assistant at UECo will have broad responsibilities associated with the development, management, and marketing of standard products. As part of the Product Management & Marketing Team, the person in this role will play an active role communicating design specifics during development as well as maintaining perfect product records, both internally and externally (web).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare for new product introductions by updating the product database (Tiled) and creating necessary training materials for the Sales and Client Service Teams.

In conjunction with the Product Designers and Product Managers, organize comprehensive final design packets to present to the Development Engineering Team. Packets include detailed product specifications, finish breakdowns, final design rendering, and 3D models.

Organize concepts and designs delivered by Product Development to be reviewed at quarterly Design Meetings.

Assist in the flow of development by placing orders for prototypes or elements needed and track each to ensure on-time delivery and proper storage.

Create, manage, and finalize custom part numbers based on product configurations ensuring accuracy and consistency with internal naming conventions and system requirements.

Support the Creative Team by managing the flow of prototypes to and from the photo studio for website photography as well as movement into “Marketing Hold” before and after photoshoots.

Assist with ongoing product maintenance including shifts in offerings, discontinuations, price changes, etc.

Learn and understand company visual and quality standards and act as a resource for visual approvals of materials, finish quality, and new designs.

Manage adding new installs to the website (PDPs, appropriate Portfolio pages) and adding to product boards on Pinterest. Regularly add new portfolio + product shots, including captions to Finishes / Glass / Signature Color / Curated Shades finish pages.

Assist with weekly email testing, looking at formatting on different devices (desktop/mobile). Manage weekly upload of new trade + B2C email sign-ups.

Social Commerce – merchandise future Meta, Pinterest, and Google storefronts.

Build new product collections and portfolio pages as needed.

Support UAT site testing as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and an interest in developing skills in product management, product development, marketing, and design. Experience in any of the above is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe applications.

Mechanically inclined or at least interested in learning various production and manufacturing processes.

Eye for detail and appreciation for the minutiae of design.

Clear and effective communicator in writing and on the phone.

Highly organized and adept at multi‑tasking while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Motivated, proactive, and takes ownership of responsibilities.

Quick learner who adapts to change and can solve problems efficiently.

Positive attitude, resilient, and determined to find solutions when challenges arise.
