WhatYouWillBeDoing: ThepositionofAccountExecutive–IntellectualProperty(IP)SalesisresponsiblefordevelopingnewbusinessrelationshipsandservingasthefirstlevelofsupporttoexistingclientswithintheIPspace.ThisrolefocusesondrivingsalesofIP-relatedlanguageandlegalsupportservicestolawfirms,corporatelegaldepartments,andIPprofessionals.
Responsibilities:
Researchprospectiveclientswithintheintellectualpropertyandlegalsectorsthroughvariousstrategiesincludinginternetresearch,tradeshowlists,referrals,professionaldirectories,andpersonalinvestigation
Createaccuratespreadsheetsofprospectiveclientdataincludingnames,titles,phonenumbers,addresses,andotherrelevantinformation
Generatedailyoutreachtoprospectiveclientsusingupdatedandaccuratedata
ColdcallprospectiveclientswithintheIPandlegalmarkets
CreativelyproblemsolvetoimprovecurrentnewbusinessdevelopmentstrategyintheIPspace
Negotiateratesanddeadlineswithprospectiveandcurrentclients
EducateprospectiveandexistingclientsregardingthetranslationandIPsupportprocess,includingTransPerfect’srates,turnaroundtimes,andcompetitivepositioning
LiaisewithproductionteamstoensureIP-relatedprojectsarehandledappropriatelyandwithkeenattentiontodetail
Consistentlyfollowupwithclientstoensuresatisfactionwithdelivery,quality,andcustomerservice
Researchandunderstandtheintellectualpropertyindustry,includingindustryleaders,currentevents,patentandtrademarktrends,andotherpertinentdata
