Parts Coordinator & Marketing Support (Full‑Time)
Isanti, United States
Company:
BMC British Automobile – Classic British Auto Restoration, Service & Parts
Location:
Isanti, MN 55040
Job Type:
Full‑Time
Reports to:
Shop Manager
About Us BMC British Automobile has been helping owners of classic British sports cars since 2000. We specialize in restoration, service, parts sourcing, and performance upgrades for MG, Triumph, Austin‑Healey, Jaguar, and other iconic British marques. We’re a small, tight‑knit team of passionate enthusiasts who genuinely enjoy what we do and work together.
Position Overview We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and team‑oriented person to join our crew full‑time. Your primary role will be supporting the parts side of the business—making sure our mechanics have the right parts when they need them and keeping our inventory accurate and up‑to‑date. When traffic slows, you’ll help with light marketing tasks such as social media and the monthly newsletter.
The role is a practical, hands‑on position in a busy classic‑car shop, not a high‑pressure sales or high‑tech marketing role.
Schedule is 40 hours per week, negotiable; start time and days are also negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
Allocate and pull parts for mechanics and customer vehicles as needed
Create purchase orders based on the shop’s and mechanics’ requirements
Receive incoming parts, verify them against purchase orders, and update inventory records
Maintain accurate stock levels and keep the parts area organized
Assist with social media posts, contribute to the monthly newsletter, and perform other small administrative or marketing tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
High school education or equivalent
Basic computer literacy; willingness to learn software systems
Strong typing accuracy and good writing abilities
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
Positive, can‑do attitude, reliable, and punctual
Comfortable working in a shop environment; ability to lift light parts
Legal resident or work visa for the USA
Previous automotive or parts experience is a plus but not required
Interest in classic cars is helpful but not necessary
Benefits
Full‑time, steady work with a consistent schedule
A genuinely friendly and supportive team that feels more like family
Opportunity to learn about classic British cars while working in a real shop environment
Competitive pay based on experience
Room to grow as the shop expands
