About Us Hadley is a small non-profit that provides both practical and social/emotional help to older adults adjusting to vision loss, empowering them to adapt and thrive. Our North Star goal is to reach 1 million members by 2030.
Overview We are seeking a Content Marketing & Social Media Intern to help expand our digital presence and storytelling efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit work, content creation, and video editing.
The intern will primarily focus on transforming long-form content (such as podcasts, interviews, and content videos) into engaging short-form videos to be shared across Facebook and YouTube. These efforts will help increase visibility, strengthen community engagement, and support donor outreach.
What You’ll Do
Review and identify key moments from long-form media content
Edit and create short-form videos (30–90 seconds) for social media
Assist with scheduling and publishing content on Facebook and YouTube
Help highlight impact stories and programs through various media outlets
Organize and maintain a library of media content for future use
What You’ll Gain
Hands-on experience in nonprofit content marketing and communications
Training in short-form video editing and content repurposing
Training in accessibility practices for low vision and blindness
Exposure to mission-driven storytelling and engagement strategies
Experience working with real campaigns and community outreach

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
Available from roughly 06/22/2026 – 08/14/2026
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Public Relations, or a related field
Has previous experience working within an office environment
Is skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Interested in nonprofit work, social impact, or community engagement
Creative and comfortable working with video and audio content
A clear and thoughtful communicator (especially in writing)
Detail-oriented and organized
Willing to learn and take initiative
Comfortable with feedback to ensure brand’s voice, tone, and visual presentation
Able to simplify information for broad audiences
Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience with video/audio editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative apps, etc.)
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube)
Compensation for this position is $15.00 per hour.
