Project Advisor - Sales Representative

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative who loves talking with people, being outside and helping homeowners solve their backyard needs. We pride ourselves on our solution-selling methodology and innovative products, which makes our sales team top-notch problem-solving fence and deck gurus. You need more than basic sales skills and the gift of the gab. We require our Sales Representatives to be detail-oriented, conscientious, and clear, consistent communicators.

You must be located in the Greater St. Louis, MO Metro area

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain appointment schedule via CRM and arrive at each appointment on time, with a professional appearance

Measure client backyards and compose project proposals based on project specifications, customer needs, and product preferences

Maintain a high level of clear, consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process

Respond reliably and quickly to client requests and needs

Provide a professional, well-informed consultative sales presentation that clearly translates for the customer features, and associated benefits.

Achieve sales goals, margin targets

Adhere to and uphold company policies and sales procedures

Deliver an exceptional customer experience

Effectively record all appointments, emails, interactions with customers and utilize CRM effectively

Communicate project details timely, and clearly with back office and production delivery teams

Full exposure to territory in the Greater St. Louis Metro Area, specifically in Missouri

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge

Basic math acumen

Email/internet

Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office

Skills/Credentials

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High-level customer service skills

Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

Self‑motivated to achieve daily responsibilities, an entrepreneurial spirit.

Ability to learn quickly

Above average listening skills

Ability to navigate difficult conversations effectively and respectfully with customers and internal team members should they arise

Maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to all safe driving practices.

Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements / Environments Standing and walking intermittently.

Travel Must drive to various customer locations, safe and reliable transportation with insurance needed. Leads will be Missouri based, but this is a remote position.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Competitive 100% commission-based wage with estimated earnings of $125,000 - $150,000+ annually.

Stipend through training period

Eligible for full health, dental, and vision benefits including additional voluntary coverages.

Fence & Deck Depot provides LTD, and $10,000 of life insurance.
