The Business Development Associate on our North American Financial Services team is a growth-focused role responsible for expanding revenue within a portfolio of existing GLG accounts. This individual will build pipeline in underpenetrated buying centers, convert new users through targeted outreach and compelling platform demonstrations, and partner with business development managers to upsell, cross-sell, and drive renewals. Success is measured by revenue growth, new user acquisition, and increased adoption of GLG products and services.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Prospect into assigned accounts to identify, engage, and convert new users and buying centers through high-volume outbound (calls, emails, and warm referrals) and strategic account mapping.
Advance pipeline by leading discovery, delivering tailored platform demonstrations, and positioning GLG solutions that unlock incremental project volume and wallet share.
Partner with Business Development Managers and client service teams to execute expansion and renewal strategies, including proactive outreach, user re‑activation, and surfacing cross‑sell opportunities across GLG’s product suite.
Goals and expectations:
Consistently build and progress pipeline within assigned accounts, with a steady cadence of new meetings, discovery calls, and demos.
Increase total project volume and revenue by converting target users, expanding use cases, and reactivating dormant demand.
Improve penetration among active users by coaching on best practices, introducing additional GLG products, and creating repeatable engagement rhythms.
Prospect into new teams and strategies within client firms (new buying centers) to diversify demand sources and expand wallet share.
Support renewals by identifying retention risks early, building multi‑threaded relationships, and coordinating expansion plays that reinforce renewal value.
Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene to forecast accurately, track opportunities, and prioritize time toward the highest‑impact revenue activities.
Activate and expand users through targeted campaigns (e.g., events, topical outreach, new product launches) that drive measurable engagement and incremental revenue.
Drive attendance and post‑event conversion by inviting high‑propensity users and following up with tailored next‑step recommendations.
Deliver crisp, value‑based messaging and sales collateral that supports conversion (e.g., pitch decks, use‑case examples, ROI narratives) in partnership with the broader team.
An ideal candidate will have the following:
A Bachelor’s degree is required in addition to 1‑3 years of demonstrated success selling information services and solutions.
The ability to build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers in client firms.
Ability to work well independently and be self‑motivated.
A strong passion for persuasion, especially around complicated and intellectually challenging issues.
Strong attention to detail, including pipeline discipline, opportunity tracking, and follow‑through on next steps.
A demonstrated ability to read and understand people.

Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. $59,000 — $75,000 USD
